Donald M. Mead

Donald M. Mead, 45, of Monroe, died Sunday (March 31, 2013) in Cambridge. He was born August 14, 1967, son of the late Donald Mead and Gloria Maxine (Cowgill) Mead. Mr. Mead was a self-employed handyman. He enjoyed fishing and other outdoor activities. He is survived by his wife, Lisa D. (VanDyne) Mead; a son, Blade Michael Mead of Cambridge; two daughters, Amanda Jo Mead and Tasha Burt both of Cambridge; four brothers, Thomas Lee Mead (& Lisa Lanning) of Cambridge, John Mead of Fort Dodge IA, Keith Mead of Manila AR, and Jim (& Jackie) Mead of Cambridge; three sisters, June Mead of Dayton, Sharon (& Dave) Jackson of Caldwell, and Kim (& John) Bohley of Monroe; and three grandchildren, Kash Watson, Emma Burt, and Ella Saylor. A private family gathering will be held at Theo's Restaurant (upstairs) on Wednesday (April 3, 2013) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friends are invited to join the family from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. later that evening. No funeral services will be held at this time.
