Donald L. Moore

Donald L. Moore, 41, of Cambridge, died Friday (July 13, 2018) at Southeastern Med.

He was born August 18, 1976 in Cambridge, son of Donald Jirles and the late Mary (Secrest) Hudson.

A graduate of Cambridge High School, Mr. Moore had worked at Secrest Disposal.

He enjoyed riding four-wheelers.

Mr. Moore was Protestant by faith.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edward Secrest Jr.

He is survived by his father, Donald Jirles (& JoLynn Whitaker) of Winterset; his stepfather, John Hudson; his father who adopted him, Kenneth Moore; a brother, Kenneth Moore of Cambridge; two half-brothers, T.J. Kunkle and Stacy Jirles both of Cambridge; two uncles, David Jirles and Edward (& Leeann) Secrest both of Cambridge; two aunts, Dolly Arnold (& Greg Lanning) and Janet (& Edward) Morrow both of Cambridge; his grandmother, Norma Secrest of Cambridge; and several cousins.

Visitation will be held Wednesday (July 18, 2018) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Thursday (July 19, 2018) at 1 p.m. with Pastor Randy Mercer officiating.

Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
