Donald Richard Todd Sr.

Donald Richard Todd Sr, 90, of Cambridge, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022, at his home.

Donald was born February 22, 1932, in Kipling, Ohio, a son to the late William Ellsworth and Leona Bell (Slay) Todd. He married Rosalie (Miller) Todd on August 25, 1951. He retired in 1994 from EG Smith where he was a steel worker.

He enjoyed coin collecting, flea markets, and making people laugh. He loved his church, Salt Fork Baptist.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Rosalie Todd whom passed April 27, 1997, along with five sisters, Beverly Fisher, Shirley Stillion, Barbara Hollins, Patty Todd and infant Freda Mae Todd, and seven brothers, Kenneth, Harold, Junior, Hershal, Charles, Paul and infant Raymond Todd.

Donald is survived by two sons, Donald R (& Karen) Todd Jr of Cambridge, Michael A (& Sharon) Todd of Dunbar, WV, and Dianna (& John) Lanning of Cambridge, seven grandchildren Charlie (& Melissa) LaCroix, Nichole LaCroix, Richie LaCroix, Eric Todd, Abby Kunze, Heather Woofter, And April (& Chase) Christison, twelve great grandchildren, Charles (& Shontell Hill) LaCroix, Jensen LaCroix, Katelyn Morris, Devin Maust, Michael Kunze, Brandice Kunze, Davis Christison, Patrick Christison, Ashley Christison, Kenzie (& Daniel) Silva, and Payton Chase (& Jordan) Myler, and four great- great grandchildren Wrenlee LaCroix, Dawson Myler, Danny Silva, and Rosie Myler. Also left to cherish his memory is his good friend Roy Wolfe Jr.

There will be calling hours Tuesday, January 3, 2022, at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge from 11am to 1pm. Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation with Brian Hollis officiating. Burial will follow at Guernsey Memory Gardens.
