Donella "Jeanette" Kyser

Donella “Jeanette” Kyser, 82, of McConnelsville, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the Highland Oaks Health Center.

She was born May 17, 1943, in Cambridge, daughter of the late William Whittle and Elizabeth (Orend) Whittle.

Mrs. Kyser was a homemaker.

She was an avid reader, card player, and enjoyed working on puzzle books. She also loved root beer floats and never found a pizza she didn’t like.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Kyser, who died February 3, 2000. Also deceased are an infant brother and her daughter- in- law, Mary Kyser

She is survived by three sons, William Kyser of Cambridge, Randy (& Leakhena) Kyser of Reynoldsburg, and Gary (& Robyn) Kyser of Cambridge; a daughter, Lori (& Kevin) Kirkman of Pickerington; nine grandchildren, Amber (& John) Waggoner, Kyle (& Tiffany) Kirkman, Chelcee Kyser, Haley Kyser, Ellison (& Eric) Kyser, Keaton Kyser, Steven Kraizel, Christine Kraizel, and Lawson Kyser; and nine great-grandchildren, Steve, Beckett, Jack, Finnick, Brantley, Kyser, Fox, Cherry, and Jaxson.

Visitation will be held at Thorn- Black Funeral Home in Cambridge on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 5PM to 7PM and Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 11AM until the time of the service at 12PM. Josh Haught will officiate.

Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
