Doris J. Hall

Doris J. Hall, 80, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (August 27, 2019) at Cambridge Care & Rehab Center.

She was born March 21, 1939 in Canton, daughter of the late Earl Curtis Johnson and Laura Pearl (Joy) Johnson.

Mrs. Hall had worked as a secretary for many years.

She was always an active member of the Church of Christ in the communities she resided.

Some of her fondest memories included the many family vacations that were taken every summer – especially those out West. She treasured her family & friends, and they treasured her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Hall, who died September 5, 2012. They were married February 7, 1959. Also deceased are her grandparents, Everet & Maude Johnson and George & Fay Joy; and a sister, Donna Johnson.

She is survived by two sons, James C. Hall and John C. (& Susan) Hall; two sisters, Rose (& Ron) Harding and Luella (& Tom) Hanes; a brother, Roger Johnson (& his friend, Kitty); five grandchildren, Jonathan (& Pamela) Hall, Jason Hall, Logan Hall, Alexis Hall, and Marissa Hall; and a great-grandson, Parker Hall.

Visitation will be held Friday (September 6, 2019) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Doug Bryan officiating.

Burial will be at Senecaville Cemetery.
