Doris M. Stavely

Doris M. Stavely, 88, of Cambridge, died Thursday (December 17, 2020) at Beckett House at New Concord.

She was born March 27, 1932 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Frances Hill and Hazel (Householder) Hill.

Mrs. Stavely had worked at the former March Electric for many years.

She was Baptist by faith.

She was a great cook.  She cherished spending time with her grandchildren.  She loved her animals, especially her dog, Buddy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Lee Stavely Jr., who died April 27, 2018; a daughter, Sue Vorhies; a brother, Jack Hill; two sisters, Katherine "Kitty" Dragosin and Florence "Tootie" Kaser; and a great-grandchild.

She is survived by a son, Eddie Lee (Winifred) Stavely III; two daughters, Lorrie (Wesley) Doudna and Melissa (Steve) Mathews; ten grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

No calling hours will be observed.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday (December 23, 2020) at 11 a.m. at the Northwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Cambridge, with Pastor Steve Mathews officiating. Entombment will follow at the Northwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Cambridge.
