Dorothy E. Burris

Dorothy E. Burris, 57, of Cambridge, died Friday (May 22, 2015) at Southeastern Med. She was born Dec. 1, 1957, in Cambridge, daughter of Beulah (Keith) Burris-Talbert and the late Dwight R. Burris. She attended the Byesville Church of Christ and loved the outdoors and gardening. She is survived by her mother, Beulah (Keith) Burris-Talbert of Cambridge; four brothers, Richard Burris of Cambridge, Dwight Burris of Byesville, Ralph Burris of Cambridge and Jerry Burris of California; a sister, Betty (Noah) West of Kentucky; her dog, Biscuit; and a special friend, Bill (Lynn) Snide. Visitation will be on Tuesday (May 26, 2015) from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge.
