Dorothy M. Knabb

Dorothy M. Knabb, 60, of Kimbolton, died Wednesday (March 6, 2019) at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.

She was born January 17, 1959 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Donald Johnson and Mary Jane (Stackhouse) Johnson.

A graduate of Cambridge High School, Mrs. Knabb had worked in the housekeeping department of Cambridge Health Care for several years. She had also worked at the former Hamilton Beach.

She was Protestant by faith.

She loved riding in the golf cart with her grandchildren and working on puzzle books.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn D'Ostroph.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Knabb, whom she married May 8, 1982; three sons, Brookes (& Rachel) Knabb of Kimbolton, Chris (& Erin) Knabb of Kimbolton, and Scott Johnson of Kimbolton; two brothers, Donald (& Joan) Johnson of Kimbolton and Dave Johnson of Newcomerstown; two sisters, Penny (& Les) Hooper of Port Washington and Helen (& David) Fairchild of Cambridge; and four grandchildren, Rylee Knabb, Averey Knabb, Delaney Knabb, and Finley Knabb.

Visitation will be held Monday (March 11, 2019) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor John Simms officiating.

Burial will be at Kimbolton Cemetery.
