Dorothy M. Wilkinson

Dorothy M. Wilkinson, 93, of Quaker City, died Saturday (April 16, 2016) at the Brenn-Field Nursing Center, Orrville. She was born December 10, 1922 in Wheeling WV, daughter of the late Charles Hercules and Nancy (Weisner) Hercules. Mrs. Wilkinson was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Cambridge Eagles Aerie 386 Auxiliary. She was a member of the Living Waters Fellowship Church of Quaker City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Wilkinson, who died in 1999; and several brothers and sisters - of which Dorothy was the last surviving family member. She is survived by five sons, Jerry (& Janet) Wilkinson of West Virginia, William (& Jackie) Wilkinson of South Carolina, Tom (& Marilyn) Wilkinson of Dundee, Ronnie Wilkinson of Tennessee, and Bob Wilkinson of Akron; two daughters, Marilyn (& Frank) Faust of Manchester and Jody Starling (& Dave Ellsworth) of Marshallville; eighteen grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday (April 24, 2016) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. Burial will be at Friends Cemetery, Quaker City.
