Duane Alan McFarland, 67, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (November 3, 2021) at his home.
He was born March 13, 1954 in Cambridge, son of the late Loren McFarland and Freda (Stevens) McFarland.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and loved playing "Santa" at Christmas time.
Mr. McFarland was a US Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Terri McFarland.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Unklesbay) McFarland, whom he married July 3, 1987; a son, Michael McFarland of Zanesville; two daughters, Kimberly (Dan) Atkinson of Cambridge and Kristina (Ivan) Parrish of Caldwell; a sister, Lorie Touvell of Cambridge; and six grandchildren, Sephrenia, Gabriel, Morgan, Kenzie, Nick, and Morgan.
Visitation will be held Saturday (November 6, 2021) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Friends and family are welcome, but due to COVID-19 please take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend.
Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge, at a later date.
