Dwight Mathews, 82, of Cambridge passed away Tuesday (April 18, 2017) at the Beckett House.
He was born February 22, 1935 in Bloomfield and was the son of the late Lester and Dorothy (Griffith) Mathews
Mr. Mathews was an auto mechanic for M & M Garage and Mathews Auto Repair. He was a life member of the Eagles, an Aux. member of Cambridge VFW #2901 and a member of the Moose. He was a 1953 graduate of Cambridge High School.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Mary Corder.
He is survived by five daughters, Gail (Larry) Oiler of Cambridge, Pam (Jeff) Hall of Cambridge, Kim (Dave) Gombeda of Byesville, Melissa (Scott) King of Caldwell and Suzanne (Eric Zimmerman) Salupo of Cincinnati; one sister Peggy Larrison of Cambridge; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the "Family Center" on 2 nd St. in Byesville.
