Dylan John Berry, 23, of Lore City passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Genesis Healthcare in Zanesville.
Dylan was born March 16, 2001, in Cambridge, the son of Benjamin and Christine (Roberts) Berry of Lore City.
He graduated from Buckeye Trail High School in 2020, where he loved playing football. Dylan was the heart and life of the family. He never knew a stranger and was known to help anyone. At eight years old, he was helping the neighbor with their weeds. He loved being outdoors, whether that was playing football or riding his four-wheeler. Dylan was always known to be free spirited and followed his own path. Dylan worked as a local union 71 electrician with New River Electric.
Dylan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harold Roberts and his aunt, Anita Berry.
Along with his parents, Dylan is survived and missed by his sisters, Ashley Berry of Dayton, Taylor (& Christopher) Scott, and Emily Berry of Cambridge; his paternal grandparents, Benjamin (& Catherine) Berry Sr of Maine; his maternal grandparents, Connie (& Bill) Secrest of Cambridge; his aunt, Sarah Roberts of Lore City; his uncles, Michael (& Annaleesa) Fegley of Land O'Lakes, FL and James (& Joyai) Roberts of Bridgeport; his nieces and nephews, Kamdyn, Liam, Evelyn, and Avianna; and his best friend, who he loved like a brother, Ryan Vansickle.
Visitation will be held Wednesday July 10, 2024, from 11AM to 1PM at Thorn- Black Funeral Home in Cambridge, with the service to start at 1PM. Burial will take place in Antrim Community Cemetery.
