E. Louise Clifford

E. Louise Clifford, 73, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (June 19, 2013) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born January 29, 1940 in Cambridge, daughter of the late James "Jack" Harris and Mary (Williams) Harris. Mrs. Clifford had worked at the former NCR for twenty-eight years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Clifford was a past president for the Toastmasters and served as its area governor. She was also recognized in the Who's Who of Business & Professional Women. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kenneth "Kenny" Clifford, who died in August of 1987. They were married July 22, 1957. Also deceased is a son, Stanlee R. Clifford; two brothers, Phil Harris and Lew Harris; and a sister, Vera Chandler. She is survived by five sons, Charles Clifford II, Richard (& Denise) Clifford, Matthew (& Kathy) Clifford, Mark (& Kelly) Clifford, and Luke (& Jackie) Clifford; three daughters, Diane Moore, Theresa (& Kevin) Palmore, and Sheila Clifford; two brothers, Jack (& Fannie) Harris and Lee (& Pam) Harris; two sisters, Dorothy (& Edwin) Cordero and Belle Clark; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Monday (June 24, 2013) at 10 a.m. with Pastors Bob Hollins and Brad Grandison officiating. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Louise's name may be made to Bibles For America, 355 Goddard - Ste. 100, Irvine CA 92618.
