E. Gail Gibson

E. Gail Gibson, 83, of Cambridge, died Thursday (January 2, 2020) at her home.

She was born February 18, 1936 in Belmont County, daughter of the late Charles Albert Zurcher and Laura G. (Saffell) Zurcher.

Mrs. Gibson retired from NCR after twenty-eight years of service.

She was a member of the Cambridge Eagles and Cambridge Moose and was a life member of the Cambridge VFW Post 2901. She enjoyed playing euchre, traveling, and going to Jamboree in the Hills. She loved spending time with her family.

She was Methodist by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters; and a granddaughter, Terra Decker.

She is survived by her husband of over fifty years, Ralph "Hoot" Gibson; three daughters, Carol (& John) Decker of Millersport, Connie Skelton of Flushing, and Cathy (& Kenny) Brokaw of Flushing; two grandchildren, Nikole (& Brad) Bunting of Lancaster and Chad Brokaw of Flushing; two great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Ady; and several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday (January 7, 2020) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m.

Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
