Earl Paul Anderson, 93, of New Philadelphia, died Saturday (July 18, 2009) at the New Dawn Health Care Center, Dover. He was born January 2, 1916 in Senecaville, son of the late Wilson Anderson and Mary Ann (Lenhart) Anderson. Mr. Anderson retired in 1981 after thirty-nine years of service as a tool polisher for Simonds in Newcomerstown. He was a member of the Cambridge Eagles Aerie #386 and also served in the Civilian Conservation Corps. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers; four sisters; and a step-grandson, Hugh Chambers. He is survived by his wife, Juanita May (Bishard) Anderson of the home, whom he married on January 8, 1940; a son, Earl P. (& Carole) Anderson Jr. of Dover; three grandchildren, Connie (& Matt) Dolvin of New Philadelphia, Joan Marie (& Dave) McLaughlin of New Philadelphia and Earl (& Jennifer) Anderson III of Stone Creek; six great-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday (July 22, 2009) at 11 a.m. at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, with Pastor Greg Kesler officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
