Earl Robert Huffman, 77, of Cambridge, died Monday (December 28, 2020) at his home.
He was born October 16, 1943 in Port William, son of the late Earl Huffman and Ruth (Sprowl) Lewis.
Mr. Huffman retired from the US Army, where he had been a Sergeant 1 st Class. He had served during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the Cambridge VFW Post 2901.
He graduated in 1961 from Fairmont High School.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, gambling, fishing, and golfing. He also liked dining out and having coffee every morning at the VFW.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Schuldt; and a sister-in-law, Pam Phipps.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Kuck) Huffman, whom he married January 17, 1965; three sons, Joseph Huffman of Wilmington, Matt (Lisa) Huffman of Zanesville, and Jim Huffman of Cambridge; three brothers-in-law, Stuart (Sandy) Kuck of Coshocton, Russell (Nani) Kuck of Frederick MD, and Terry Phipps of Cambridge; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and friends; and his beloved dog, Maggie.
Private services will be held for the family on Thursday (December 31, 2020) at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Military honors will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
