Earl M. Wallace, 88, of Kimbolton, died Wednesday (October 4, 2017) at his home. He was born December 9, 1928 in Kimbolton, son of the late Clyde Wallace and Bessie (Bell) Wallace. Mr. Wallace retired from Detroit Edison, where he had been a lineman for many years. He was Methodist by faith. He raised cattle and was a member of the Charolais Cattleman Association. Mr. Wallace was a US Army veteran, having served during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Raymond Wallace, Hattie Braniger, Abe Wallace, Sam Wallace, Elmer Wallace, Leonard Wallace, and Gene Wallace. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Beebe) Wallace, whom he married June 5, 1954; a son, Daniel C. (& Julie) Wallace of Jeddo MI; two daughters, Evelyn (& Scott) Duguid of Taylor MI and Phyllis (& Earl) Betzing of Taylor MI; a brother, Charles Robert Wallace of Trenton MI; six grandchildren, Matthew Wallace, Joshua Wallace, Christina Wallace, Michael Duguid, Justin Betzing, and Amanda Betzing; four great-grandchildren, Halston McDonald, Leha Duguid, Summer Duguid, and Joey Vitalli; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will held Friday (October 6, 2017) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Burial will be at Richmond City Cemetery, Richmond MI.
