Edith E. Webb

Edith E. Webb, 75, of McConnelsville, died Monday (March 3, 2014) as the result of an auto accident near Pleasant City OH. She was born August 10, 1938 in Zanesville, daughter of the late George Thomas and Voneda (Sample) Thomas. Mrs. Webb was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family. She grew up in the Nazarene Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Webb; a daughter, Candy Webb; three brothers, George, James, and Frank Thomas; and two sisters, Betty Shepherd and Ruth Barett. She is survived by two sons, Ronnie (& Lura) Webb and Ted Webb; two daughters, Brenda (& Dwight) Dean and Kathy (& Brent) Corwin; two brothers, Charles (& Joan) Thomas and Robert (& Elizabeth) Thomas; four sisters, Margaret (& Phil) Grubaugh, Virginia Thomas, Mary McPeck, and Thelma Ross; a sister-in-law, Hazel Thomas; eleven grandchildren, Joey (& Anna) Lang, Jay (& Maria) Lang, Trisha Cosgrave, Zachary Smith, Seth Smith, Corey Smith, Lorena Webb, Brandon Webb, Ashley Bolden, Amber Bolden, and Billy Bolden; seven great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Charles Gump. No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be held Saturday (March 8, 2014) at 2 p.m. at the Waterford Church of the Nazarene (111 Marquis Avenue, Waterford OH) with Pastor Karl Kesselring officiating.
