Edna Mae "Tat" Dilley, 78, of Cambridge, died Thursday (June 21, 2007) at the Red Carpet Health Care Center, Cambridge. She was born on November 30, 1928 in Hopewell VA, daughter of the late Sylvester David Murphy and Edna Mae (Dice) Murphy. Mrs. Dilley retired in 1988 from Champion after thirty-three years of service, where she had been a production line worker. She was also a benefit representative for the Union. Mrs. Dilley was a 1946 graduate of Cambridge High School. She was a member of the Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority, Phi Chapter. Mrs. Dilley enjoyed card playing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Murphy. She leaves her husband of forty-nine years, Thomas Dilley of the home, whom she married on March 1, 1958; a daughter, Lynn Ann Watson of Akron; three sons, Rick (& Debbie) Watson of Lambertville MI, Mark J. Dilley of Portland OR and Matthew D. (& Kathy) Dilley of Cambridge; a sister, Linda (& Fred) Brandt of Canal Fulton; seven beautiful grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a faithful golden retriever who spent most of his time at her bedside. Family and friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and also on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (June 23, 2007) at 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Guernsey, Inc., P.O. Box 1165, Cambridge OH 43725.
