Edna Mae Suggett

Edna Mae Suggett, 81, of Zanesville, died Sunday (November 8, 2009) at the Genesis-Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville. She was born February 20, 1928, daughter of the late John W. Tucker and Inez O. (Groves) Tucker. Mrs. Suggett was a machine operator with the former NCR of Cambridge and a bus driver for the Rolling Hills School District. She was also an LPN at Adams Lane Care Center for several years. She was a member of the Chandlersville Methodist Church, as well as a member of the Pythian Sisters of Pleasant City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Suggett; a son, Kenneth Lee Suggett; two brothers, Warren and William Tucker; and a grandson, Christopher Snyder. She is survived by three sons, Raymond D. Suggett of Zanesville, Byron Lee Suggett of Blue Rock and Timothy A. Suggett of Canal Winchester; a daughter, Debra J. (& Charles) Snyder of Cambridge; a brother, John Tucker of Pomeroy; a sister-in-law, Ellen Hatfield of Pomeroy; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday (November 11, 2009) at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Buffalo Cemetery, Buffalo.
