Edward "Ed" Crozier, 82, of Cambridge, passed away Saturday (November 1, 2008) at Victorian Oaks of Cambridge. He was born on October 26, 1926 in Coshocton, son of the late Edward J. and Margaret Crozier. Mr. Crozier retired after twenty-five years as a Cambridge City Police Officer, where he earned the rank of lieutenant. He was a member of the F.O.P., the Elks and the V.F.W. Post 2901. He took pride in his yard work. He enjoyed playing bingo and taking care of the cats & the birds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of over fifty years, Dora Lee (Ryan) Crozier, who passed away on February 26, 2007; and also by his brothers & sisters. He leaves a son, Robert (& Kathy) Crozier of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Angela Crozier of Cambridge and Jason (& Hilary) Crozier of Norwich; two step-grandchildren, Jennifer (& John) Zorger of Cambridge and Teresa Dodd of Cambridge; four great-grandchildren, Braden Sensibaugh, Tayli Crozier, Mea Crozier and Jacob Zorger; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Tuesday (November 4, 2008) at 1 p.m. with Pastor Carl Christman officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, with military graveside services conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
