Edward Lee Ford

Edward "Ed" Lee Ford, 66, of Cambridge, died Friday (December 5, 2008) at his home. He was born August 16, 1942 in Cambridge, son of the late John Ford and Carol (Lowry) Ford. Mr. Ford was an oil field worker. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jean Ford. He leaves his wife, Doris (Jones) Ford of Cambridge, whom he married February 14, 1977; a daughter, Cherish Ford of the home; three brothers, Dave Ford, Frank (Gwen) Ford and John (Sandy) Ford, all of Cambridge; six sisters, Susie (Jon) Barber of Zanesville, Carol "JoAnn" Kennedy of Cambridge, Randy (Dave) Smith of Old Washington, Darlene (Tom) Lehotay, Lorena Jones and Loretta Davis, all of Cambridge; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dale Ice officiating.
