Edward C. Perrine

Edward C. Perrine, 88, of Kimbolton, died Thursday (October 12, 2017) at Community Hospice – Truman House, New Philadelphia OH. He was born December 31, 1928 in Richwood WV, son of the late Evert Wade Perrine and Ollie Susan (Tyree) Perrine. Mr. Perrine retired from General Motors of Parma, where he had been a union representative with UAW #1005 for thirty years. He was a member of the Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center and the Newcomerstown American Legion. Mr. Perrine was a US Navy veteran, having served during WWII. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna E. (Cole) Perrine; a sister, Vera Hall; and a brother, Berwyn Perrine. He is survived by a son, Ryan Edward Perrine of Kimbolton; and a brother, Delmus Perrine of Kimbolton. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services and military honors will be held Wednesday (October 18, 2017) at 3 p.m. at the Greenhills Memory Gardens in Cedar Bluff VA.
