Efthemios "Tommy" N. Pandelos

Efthemios N. "Tommy" Pandelos, 62, of Cambridge, died Sunday (June 28, 2009) at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital, Columbus. He was born January 11, 1947 in Martins Ferry, son of the late Nick Pandelos and Dorothy (Poulos) Pandelos. Mr. Pandelos was a long-time employee of the Seneca Lake Marina, where he was a boat mechanic. He was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. Mr. Pandelos was a 1966 graduate of Cambridge High School, where he had played football. He loved sports, and was an avid fan of the Cambridge Bobcats and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 386 of Cambridge, as well as the Fraternal Order of the Moose 631 of Cambridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom & Argero Poulos. He leaves three brothers, Spero Pandelos of Cambridge, Manuel (& Denise) Pandelos of Clearwater FL and Perry (& Loretta) Pandelos of South Carolina; a sister, Kathryn Pandelos of Clearwater FL; several nieces and nephews; and his caring companion, Connie Sivard and her family of Cambridge. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Funeral services will be held on Thursday (July 2, 2009) at 11 a.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, with Father Meneloas Papageorgiou officiating, assisted by Pastor David Kissinger.
