Eileen Hess

Eileen Hess, 77, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (January 12, 2021) at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.

She was born April 18, 1943 in Newcomerstown, daughter of the late Albert Ogle Sr. and Edith (Spencer) Ogle.

A 1961 graduate of New Concord High School, Mrs. Hess had worked at Dr. Earl Conaway's office as a secretary for nine years.

She was a member of the Kipling VFW Auxiliary.  She loved playing cards and doing yardwork.

Mrs. Hess was Protestant by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Larrick; her second husband, Wilbur "Squib" Hess, who died in 2005; and two brothers, John L. Ogle and Jack Grant Ogle.

She is survived by two brothers, Albert (Karen) Ogle of Cambridge and Chuck Ogle of Byesville; and two sisters, Mary Ellen Palmer of New Concord and Maxine (Lyle) Shaw of Byesville.

Private services will be held for the family on Friday (January 15, 2021) with burial to follow at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.  Evang. Mark Beros will officiate the services.
