Eleanor L. Emler

Eleanor L. Emler, 87, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (June 17, 2020) at Cambridge Care & Rehab.

She was born May 18, 1933 in Newcomerstown, daughter of the late Walter Angle and Lillian (Jones) Angle.

Mrs. Emler was a Hospice volunteer and a home health worker. She had also worked at RCA and Southeastern Med.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Emler, who died in 1995. They were married in 1950. Also deceased are two sons, William Robert Emler Jr. and infant son Jonathan Clayton Emler; a daughter, Julie Haga; a brother; three sisters; and a grandchild.

She is survived by a son, Joseph A. (Rose) Emler of Virginia; two daughters, Deborah L. (Richard) King of Byesville and Cynthia J. (Kenneth) Black of Virginia; a son-in-law, Gary Haga of Byesville; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held.

Burial will be at Flat Ridge Cemetery, Knox Township.
