Eleanor Long, 88, of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Ohio Health Southeastern Medical Center.

Eleanor was born on October 2, 1936, in Cumberland, a daughter of the late Charles L. and Evelyn Rose (Bailey) Yoho.

Eleanor worked for Champion Spark Plug for thirty-two years as an inspector. She was a volunteer at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center and was a Charter member of Champion Spark Plug Retirees. She enjoyed going to flea markets, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Long, whom she married on May 29, 1953, a granddaughter, Lauren Long, her sister, Jeanie Karr, and her special aunt, Jean Glenn.

Eleanor is survived by two sons, Rick (Melinda) Long of Cambridge, and Michael (Barbara) Long of Pataskala, four grandchildren, Brian Long, Carrie Long, Cortni (Michael) Brunty, and Ashli Walker, and four great-grandchildren, Alee, Averi, Haeden, and Madyx, several nieces and nephews, and her two special friends, Mary Dickerson and Sue McElroy.

A graveside service will be held Monday, June 9, 2025, at 11AM at Northwood Cemetery with Pastor Tina Siroki officiating.
