Eleanor Louiseamcik Sr

Eleanor Louise Sramcik, 69, of Cambridge, passed away Tuesday (September 12, 2006) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born December 10, 1936 in Neffs, daughter of the late James Kurth and Dorthea (Phillips) Kurth. Mrs. Sramcik retired from Champion Spark Plug and also had worked at the former Guernsey Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Sramcik was a member of the Unity Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Deacon. She was also a member of United Presbyterian Women. She volunteered with the Salvation Army as well as Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Paul Edward Sramcik; and a sister, Ruthann (Kurth) Lucas. She leaves her husband, Paul V. Sramcik of the home, whom she married on June 11, 1966; two daughters, Renee (Sramcik) Delbridge and Denise Christine Sramcik (& Robert Pavlick) of Dublin; a son-in-law, Brian M. Delbridge; two brothers, Duane Kurth of Wooster and Bill (& Pat) Kurth of Belmont; a sister, Barbara Bostancik of Wooster; a sister-in-law, Betty Britton Kurth; a cousin, Richard Kurth of Honolulu HI; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Funeral services will be held on Friday (September 15, 2006) at 1 p.m. at the Unity Presbyterian Church, Cambridge, with Rev. Wally Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cambridge.
