Elizabeth J. Harper, 81, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (August 6, 2019) at the home of her daughter in Lore City.
She was born June 25, 1938 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Arthur Nealey and Leona (Duke) Nealey.
Ms. Harper was a homemaker. She loved her kids and grandchildren dearly.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Harper; two sisters, Edna "Sally" Leeper and Virginia "Susie" Bradshaw; a brother, Arthur D. Nealey; and a great-grandson, Blake Nickolas Harper.
She is survived by a son, Chris (& Valorie) Harper of Cumberland; three daughters, Lora (& Dan) Geary of Lore City, Tina (& Dan) Rominger of Kimbolton, and Sallie Harper (& Richard Webb) of Cambridge; a daughter-in-law, Karen Harper; two brothers, Jim (& Becky) Nealey of Cambridge, and George Nealey (& Joyce Underwood) of Senecaville; a sister, Judy (& Greg) Fogle of Cambridge; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Raymond Bradshaw; and her good friend, Barbara Clagget.
Visitation will be held Friday (August 9, 2019) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Brother Steve Allen officiating.
Burial will be at Center Cemetery.
