Elizabeth Ammar Nader

Elizabeth Ammar Nader, 91, formerly of Cambridge, died Wednesday (April 14, 2010) at the Hospice of Marion County in Ocala FL. She was born December 26, 1918 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Michael Anthony Ammar and Victoria (Mbiad) Ammar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, Joseph Schaffee Nader; and two sisters, Mary Saady and Helen Snage. She is survived by a daughter, Joellen Nader; a son, Michael Nader and his wife, Sandra; a sister, Josephine Nader; a grandson, Kristian Nader; a granddaughter, Tiffany Nader; two great-granddaughters, Aleksandra Nader and Dominika Nader; an uncle, Frederick Mbiad; and several nieces, nephews & cousins. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where a wake service will begin at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday (April 19, 2010) at Christ Our Light Parish (St. Benedict Catholic Church), Cambridge, with Father Robert Borer officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Cambridge.
