Elizabeth M. Savage

Elizabeth M. Savage, 92, of Cambridge, died Monday (July 30, 2018) at the Cardinal Place.

She was born July 21, 1926 in Pickerington, daughter of the late Raymor T. Anderson and Ethel L. (Passmore) Anderson.

A 1944 graduate of Pickerington High School, Mrs. Savage was a lifelong homemaker. She loved cooking and baking. She cherished spending time with her family.

She was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Urban Meyer, and Tiger Woods.

Mrs. Savage was a member of the East Union Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Robert J. "Boonie" Savage, who died March 11, 2011; two brothers, Eugene Anderson and Doyle Anderson; and a sister, Margie Lou King.

She is survived by two sons, Nick (& Lynn) Savage of Salesville and Shawn Savage of Cambridge; a daughter, Debbie (& Randy) Green of Cambridge; three granddaughters, Andrea (& Eric) Gander of Cambridge, Amy (& Mike) Golden of Cambridge, and Kali Savage of Salesville; four great-grandchildren, Taylor Gander, Lauren Gander, Jemma Mae Golden, and Harleigh Elizabeth Golden; a brother-in-law, Harry L. King of Brunswick GA; and two special friends, Shirley Bogart and Donna Lucas.

Visitation will be held Wednesday (August 1, 2018) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Evang. Mark Beros officiating.

Burial will follow at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
