Elizabeth Sparrow

Elizabeth Sparrow (née Oncheck) 83 of Freeport, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday March 25, 2022, surrounded by her loving husband of 61 years, Larry Sparrow Sr. and her children Patricia Slivka (née Sparrow, wife of James), and Larry Sparrow Jr. Besides her family, Betty loved being outdoors and could usually be found either gardening or fishing. Born in Walnutport, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Herminia (née Cser) Oncheck. In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her grandchildren Andy Slivka (husband of Emma) and Sarah Slivka (wife of Mitchell), her brother James Oncheck (husband of Mary), and her sister Patricia Jacoby (née Oncheck). She was preceded in death by her brothers Leonard and Alex Oncheck, and her sister Margaret Morgan (née Oncheck, wife of Robert). At Betty's request, there will be no funeral or memorial services, but the family suggests that everyone plants their favorite flower in her honor. Cremation services provided by Edwards Funeral Service and Thorn-Black Funeral Homes Interment Antrim Presbyterian Church in Antrim, Ohio.
