Eria K. Stoneburner, 90, of Cambridge, died Sunday (April 18, 2010) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born January 23, 1920 in Huntington WV, daughter of the late William Albert Pemberton and Zada (Flowers) Pemberton. She married Griffin Lawall Stoneburner on June 19, 1939. Mrs. Stoneburner retired from NCR after sixteen years of service. She had also worked at the former RCA for ten years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, joining the church on November 1, 1959. She was very active in the church's activities. She enjoyed flower gardening and also sewing. She was a loving & devoted mother and grandmother. She had much compassion for her family and others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Griffin, who died May 14, 1997; a son, Gary D. Stoneburner; a brother; and several sisters. She is survived by a son, David Allen (& Jackie) Stoneburner of Cambridge; a daughter, Sonja Lee Stoneburner of Cambridge; three grandchildren, Julie Diane (& George Edwin) Dolney of Cambridge, David Wayne (& Samantha) Stoneburner of Newark and Sherry Dawn (& Kenneth) Arthurs of Cambridge; two great-grandsons, George Edwin (& Lindsay) Dolney III and Dean Anthony Granitsas both of Cambridge; a great-great-granddaughter, Zelda Marie Dolney; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Wednesday (April 21, 2010) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will follow at 3 p.m. with President Robert Erskine officiating. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
