Eric Paul Moore, 45, of Senecaville, died Thursday (February 8, 2018) at his home. He was born August 5, 1972 in Ware MA, son of Madeleine (Theberge) Moore and the late Jack H. Moore. Mr. Moore worked as a Lieutenant and Supervisor at the Noble Correctional Institute. He was a Patriots fan, enjoyed photography and watching NASCAR, especially Martin Truex Jr. He was a U. S. Army veteran. He is survived by his mother, Madeleine (Theberge) Moore of Columbus; three sons, Corey Moore (& Samantha Seresun) of Byesville, Austin "A.J." Moore of Byesville and Jerrick Moore of Senecaville; three daughters, Tabathe (& Joshua) Murphy of New Concord, Shelby (& Justin) Pierce of Cambridge and Hayley Rogers of Pleasant City; two brothers, Jack F. Moore and Mark Moore, both of Columbus; six grandchildren, Zayden Moore, Preston Moore, Zander Murphy, Ashton Moore, Zaylin Murphy and Braxton "Grunt" Pierce; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Tuesday (February 13, 2018) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday (February 14, 2018) at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, with Chaplain Gary Eno officiating. Following the funeral, military honors will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council at the funeral home.
