Ernest Donald Goss

Ernest Donald Goss, 83, of Senecaville, died peacefully with his wife, Peggy, by his side on Tuesday (October 6, 2015) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born September 28, 1932 in Arcadia, son of the late Edward Goss and Elda (Stewart) Goss. He was formerly of Stow OH and Arcadia PA. Mr. Goss retired from the Ford Motor Company. He and his wife found their dream home on the hill and spent thirty wonderful years together. Mr. Goss was a US Army veteran, having served during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Bernon, and Buck; and a stepson, David Edge. He is survived by his wife, Peggy A. (Gregory) Goss; his children, Laurel (& Bob) Hager, Ernest Jr. (& Debbie) Goss, Sheryl Moon, and Timothy Goss; a brother, Cecil Goss; three sisters, Vivian Wright, Dorothy Bingamin, and Shelvy Jean Moore; his stepchildren, Buck Edge, Debbie Tratnik, and Cherie Kinney; many grandchildren & great-grandchildren; and by his best buddy, Shilo the poodle. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Friday (October 9, 2015) at 1 p.m. with Pastor Perry Baranich officiating. Burial will be at Friends Cemetery, Quaker City.
