Ernest E. Kinder, 64, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (December 11, 2018) at Astoria Place of Cambridge.
He was born August 22, 1954 in Boone County WV, son of the late Lacie W. Kinder and Carry (Barton) Kinder.
Mr. Kinder retired from Salt Fork State Park where he had worked in the maintenance department for many years.
He was a member of the Salt Fork Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Linus Kinder and Jim Kinder; and an infant sister.
He is survived by his wife, Beth (Roberts) Kinder, whom he married May 13, 1995; two sons, Ernest "Ernie" (& Rebecca) Kinder of Cleveland and James Loughley Jr. of Cleveland; three daughters, Shellie Kinder of Cleveland, Carissa Basham (& Jesse Scarberry) of Lower Salem, and Elizabeth (& Roy) Thomas of Senecaville; a brothers, Elmer Joe (& Candi) Kinder of Quaker City; a sister, Hilda (& Robert) Ely of Quaker City; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial visitation hours will be held Saturday (December 22, 2018) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, with a memorial service to follow beginning at 4 p.m.
