Ethel Holub Goff

Ethel L. (Holub) Goff, 89, of Cambridge and formerly of Byesville, died Friday (January 8, 2010) at the Red Carpet Health Care Center. She had been a patient there for seventeen days. She was born March 9, 1920 in Byesville, daughter of the late John and Susan Holub. Mrs. Goff was an employee of the former Cambridge Glass, RCA and NCR factories until her retirement. She was a member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pleasant City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her husband, Denver Goff of the home, whom she married July 10, 1965; two step-daughters who loved her like a mother, Roslyn (& Fritz) Neuhart of Dublin and Kim Marshall of Melbourne FL; five grandsons, Austin, Clint, Ryan, Nathan and Matthew; a granddaughter, Allison; a sister-in-law, Dorothea Bruner of New Concord; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday (January 13, 2010) at 1 p.m. with Pastor Larry Kudart officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
