Eula Mae Evans

Eula Mae Evans, 87, of Barnesville, died Friday (April 10, 2020) at Emerald Pointe.

She was born February 11, 1933 in Grundy VA, daughter of the late Bud Stacy and Gertrude (Sparks) Stacy.

Ms. Evans retired from Cambridge Health Care Center, where she had worked as an LPN. She was a lifelong homemaker.

Her children and her grandchildren were what brought her life meaning and she loved spending time with family.

She was Christian by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis Stanford and Retha Ratliff; two brothers, Gary Stacy and Clarence Stacy; and her companion, Robert Thomas.

She is survived by a son, Jeff (Lisa) Evans of Eastvale CA; two stepsons, Larry Evans of Zanesville and Walter Ray Evans of Nashville TN; three stepdaughters, Debbie (John) Biles of Nashville TN, Becky (Dennis) Kernik of Powhatan, Bobbie Jo Danner of Zanesville; four brothers, James (Kathy) Stacy of Hurley VA, Henry (Sandy) Stacy of Cedar Bluff VA, Bill (Lela) Stacy of Salesville, and Larry Stacy of Lebanon VA; a sister, Shirley Hensley of Hurley VA; seven grandchildren, Dylan, Jacob, Jared, Katlyn, Ashton, Cole, and Brody; and many nieces & nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
