Eulabelle Wells, 88, of Pisgah Rd., Guernsey County, passed away Sunday (January 1, 2017) at SEORMC.
She was born December 8, 1928 in Cambridge and was the daughter of the late Cecil and Gertrude (Williams) Albaugh.
Mrs. Wells retired from N.C.R. after 40 years of service and had previously been employed with R.C.A. She was a member of VFW #2901 Ladies Aux. and Eagles Aerie #386 Ladies Aux. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and solving crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Luverre Wells who passed away in 1983; one daughter Carolyn; two sisters Viola Bates and Beatrice Grider; one brother Tommy Albaugh.
She is survived by four sons, Robert (Connie) Wells of Cambridge, Samuel C. Wells of Quaker City, Bruce Wells of Quaker City and Richard (Denise Bott) of Byesville; eight daughters, Linda Fairchild of Byesville, Holly (Gordon) Wade of North Carolina, Janice Wells of Quaker City, Janet Wells of Quaker City, Connie (Joe) Tolbert of Cambridge, Luverre Ann (Tom) Allen of Old Washington, Robin Joseph of Pleasant City, Barbara (Steve) Furbee of Cambridge; one brother Dwight Albaugh of Cambridge; one sister Martha O'Brien of Cambridge; twenty one grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City where services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Jim Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery.
