Eva Lou (Roth) White, 88, of Cambridge, died Monday (May 25, 2015) at Greystone Health & Rehabilitation Center, Cambridge. She was born May 13, 1927 in Cambridge, daughter of the late B. Frank Roth and Pearl (Fair) Roth. Mrs. White retired from Superior Model, where she had been the office manager form 1966 to 1992. She was a 1945 graduate of Cambridge High School and attended Cambridge Business College and Ohio University. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Mrs. White was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star - White Shrine of Zanesville. She was also a member of the Cambridge VFW Auxiliary Post 2901. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Cambridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. "Tom" White, who died September 19, 2011. They were married August 24, 1947. Also deceased are two brothers, Marvin and Raymond Roth; and a sister, Evelyn (Roth) Hammond. She is survived by a son, David A. (& Marilyn) White of Cambridge; a brother, H. Edward (& Irene) Roth of Clearwater FL; three grandchildren, Thomas J. "T.J." White, Matt (& Lindsey) Mackie, and Jason (& Jennifer) Mackie; four great-grandchildren, Sydney Mackie, Kendall Mackie, Carter Mackie, and Kolten White; and several nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Friday (May 29, 2015) at 11 a.m. with Rev. Deborah D. Bolen officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
