Everett Wayne Cutlip

Everett Wayne Cutlip, 80, of Quaker City, died Monday (April 2, 2007) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born August 14, 1926 in Sawyerwood, son of the late Lalie Cutlip and Emma (Sheets) Cutlip. Mr. Cutlip was a retired farmer. He loved taking care of his horses and playing his guitar. Mr. Cutlip enjoyed spending time with his family. Mr. Cutlip was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bradley Cutlip; and a brother, Lalie Cutlip Jr. He leaves his wife, Geraldine (Lancaster) Cutlip of the home, whom he married on December 21, 1941; two sons, Everett "Butch" (Lonnie) Cutlip Jr. of Old Washington and Jerry Cutlip of Lisbon; six daughters, Mary Ferdon of Cambridge, Patricia Smith of Cambridge, Nancy (Randy) Neuhart of Quaker City, Susan (Chuck) Beal of Birmingham, Becky (Chris) Blankenship of Alabama and Karen (Scott) Wheeler of Quaker City; a brother, Bernard (Marge) Cutlip of Newcomerstown; two sisters, Louise (Herman) Watson of Barberton and Merida Nagy of Akron; twenty-four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Thursday (April 5, 2007) from 4 to 6 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will follow at 6 p.m. with Rev. Carl Cutlip and Rev. Bernard Cutlip officiating.
