Floyd "Buck" Lucas Wylie

Floyd Lucas “Buck” Wylie, 59, of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026.

Buck was born on January 15, 1967, in Cambridge, a son of the late Jerry and Harriet (Clinger) Wylie Sr.

Buck was a 1985 graduate of Cambridge High School and always kept himself working with odd jobs. He was an avid storyteller and loved mowing grass and riding his Schwinn bicycle.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Stevens and Paul Stevens, and his sister, Jennifer Wylie.

Buck is survived by his seven brothers, Jim (Haley) Stevens of West Lafayette, Jeff (Dee) Stevens of Cambridge, George Wylie of Cambridge, Jerry (Lisa) Wylie of Cambridge, David (Julie) Wylie of Byesville, Lloyd Wylie of Cambridge, and Jay (Cindy) Wylie of Coshocton; his five sisters, Judy Wynn of Kimbolton, Sarah Cramblett of Warsaw, Evelyn (Marty) Thompson of Cambridge, Diane (Ellis) Rogers of Virginia, and Tasha Wylie of Tennessee; many nieces and nephews, including his special nephew, Eric (Kayla) Wylie of Cambridge; and his very special service dog and best friend, Buddy.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 1PM-3PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with the service to immediately follow with Pastor David Wylie officiating.
