Floyd "Krunch" L. Krunich

Floyd L. "Krunch" Krunich, 66, of Freeport, died Friday (August 31, 2012) at his home. He was born November 14, 1945 in Barberton, son of the late David Krunich and Mildred (Ferro) Krunich. Mr. Krunich retired from the Byesville Police Department. He loved fly fishing, bow hunting, trapping, gardening, and just being outdoors. He enjoyed his trips to Idaho. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette (Getz) Krunich, whom he married in 2000; two sons, Jay (& Lisa) Krunich of Green and Todd (& Renee) Krunich of Akron; a daughter, Melissa Bailey of Rosebush MI; a step-son, Scott (& Heather) Cameron of New Concord; two step-daughters, Joni (& Jeff) Hauck of Alpharetta GA and Sarah (& Travis) Wilson of Zanesville; a brother, David (& Jeanette) Krunich of Doylestown; a sister, Sandra (& Jack) Mulhollen of Silver Lake; two sisters-in-law, Laura Wayble of Antrim and Margie Grimes of Byesville; fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family and friends may call on Sunday (September 2, 2012) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Additional calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday (September 3, 2012) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with burial to follow at Sunset View Cemetery, Londonderry. As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Floyd's name to one of the following organizations: 1) Antrim Volunteer Fire Department, 20217 Cadiz Road, Freeport OH 43973; or 2) Hospice of Guernsey Inc., PO Box 1165, Cambridge OH 43725.
