Floyd Ray Watson, 86, of Cambridge, died Thursday (March 28, 2013) at Kindred Health Care, Cambridge. He was born July 4, 1926 in Cambridge, son of the late Emmett Watson and Jannie (Craft) Watson. Mr. Watson was self-employed working in television repairs. He was a great TV repairman. He was Methodist by faith. Mr. Watson was a US Army veteran and a lifelong member of the Kipling VFW Post 7371. He loved animals, especially his cats. He enjoyed gardening and watching Westerns. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Neva (Stephens) Watson, who died May 30, 1996. They were married May 12, 1947. Also deceased are seven brothers, Hershal, Harvey, Alvah, Herbert, Wilbert, Emmett, and Ernest Watson; three sisters, Floetta Lawton, Hazel Hunnel, and Bernice Dudley; a son, Floyd R. Watson Jr.; and a grandson, Glen Moore Jr. He is survived by six daughters, Diane Watson of Cambridge, Donna Burke of Cambridge, Betty (& Glen) Moore of Byesville, Peggy (& Lynn) Bond of Washington PA, Darlene (& Dennis) Callahan of Cambridge, and Lorrie (& Scott) Albaugh of Cambridge; a sister, Florence Hart of Newcomerstown; fifteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Monday (April 1, 2013) from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 12 p.m.
