Frank "Earl" Ankrum, 75, who resided with his brother, Kenny, in Cambridge, died Wednesday (May 11, 2011) in Dundee OH. He was born December 2, 1935 in Cambridge, son of the late Frank Wilson Ankrum and Luella Mae (Shearrow) Ankrum. Mr. Ankrum was a self-employed milk truck driver who delivered to Pearl Valley Cheese. He enjoyed farming and deer hunting. He also enjoyed the family "get-togethers" and spending time with his dog, Pluto. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister & brother-in-law, Vivian June and Glen McCarty; and a sister-in-law, Vicki Ankrum. He is survived by a brother, Kenny Ankrum of Cambridge; three nieces, Shayla (& Terry) Rahn of Warsaw, Deb (& Dave) Adkins of Dundee, and Christy (& Rick) Cooper of Adamsville; three nephews, Jeff (& Beth) McCarty of Dundee, Troy (& Heidi) Ankrum of Mansfield, and Stacy (& Stephanie) Babcock of New Concord; eleven great-nieces & great-nephews; and two great-great-nephews. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Sunday (May 15, 2011) at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. David S. Adkins Sr. officiating. Burial will be at Lebanon Church Cemetery in Adams Township.
