Frank B. "Jinx" Fabian Jr., 79, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (December 30, 2009) at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born May 17, 1930 in Cambridge, son of the late Frank Fabian and Frances (Spraick) Fabian. Mr. Fabian attended Community High School. He worked for Universal Pottery, Oxford Tile Company and later retired from Seminole Tubular. He was also a life-long farmer. He was a US Army veteran, having served in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He was a life member of the Cambridge VFW Post 2901. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and James Fabian; and four sisters, Beverly Fitzgerald, Lucille Anderson, Lillian Lucas and Frannie Hutchison. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann (McIntyre) Fabian of the home, whom he married May 3, 1958; four sons, Frank(& Marciea) Fabian of Byesville, Joe (& Vergie) Fabian of Cambridge, Scott Fabian of Cambridge and Randy (& Carol) Fabian of Antrim; five grandchildren, Scott (& Jenny) Fabian of Fredricksburg VA, Brandi Fabian of Antrim, Shelby Fabian of Antrim, Luke Fabian of Cambridge and Josie Fabian of Cambridge; and a soon to be great-grandchild in Virginia; a brother, Henry Fabian of Cambridge; four sisters, Isabelle Johnson of Washington Courthouse, Helen Wolfe of Salesville, Marcella Shepard of Cambridge and Connie (& Joe) Powers of Cambridge; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Monday (January 4, 2010) at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, with military graveside services conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
