Frank E. Miller Sr., 77, of Salesville, died Tuesday (January 24, 2017) at his home.
He was born January 28, 1939 in Gibson, son of the late Ervin Miller and Nellie (Anderson) Miller.
Mr. Miller was a farmer and a former coal miner.
He attended the Salesville United Methodist Church.
Mr. Miller was a member of the NRA and enjoyed restoring old tractors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Gamble) Miller, who died June 21, 2000. They were married November 28, 1973. Also deceased is a son, Frank E. Miller Jr.
He is survived by three sons, Rodney (& Denise) Miller of Bethesda, Sam (& Darlene) Clary of Salesville, and Thomas (& Brenda) Miller of Salesville; a daughter, Mary Kathilene (& Dave) Edwards of Kimbolton; a sister, Phyllis Price of Old Washington; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; several cousins, nieces, and nephews; and his special caregiver, Eunice Thomas of Quaker City.
Visitation will be held Friday (January 27, 2017) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Wib Bragg officiating.
