Fred G. Brown, 78, of Quaker City, died Friday (January 7, 2022) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge.
He was born June 3, 1943 in Guernsey County, son of the late William Brown and Freda L. (Church) Brown.
A 1961 graduate of Cambridge High School, Mr. Brown retired in 2006 from Chumney's Farms, where he had worked as a mechanic on school buses and also as a farmer.
He was a member of the Eagles Aerie #386 of Cambridge, the Moose Lodge of Cambridge, Cambridge VFW Post 2901, and the Kipling VFW Post 7371.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Brown and Michael Brown; and four sisters, Thelma Marsh, Jacqueline Burt, Peggy Lowe, and Janice Ross.
He is survived by two sons, Scott F. (Brenda) Brown of Quaker City and Charlie (Donna) Cunningham of Quaker City; a daughter, Toni (Greg) Bates of Quaker City; a sister, Martha Brown of Cambridge; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time.
