Fred "Freddie" N. Anderson

Fred N. "Freddie" Anderson, 63, of Heritage Court Apartments, Cambridge, passed away Friday (June 10, 2011) at the Red Carpet Health Care Center, Cambridge. He was born in Cambridge on March 10, 1948, a son of the late Donald H. Anderson Sr. and Jeanette McFee Anderson. Freddie was a longtime paper carrier for The Daily & Sunday Jeffersonian. He also attended Christ United Methodist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Don Anderson Jr.; and a sister, Elva Miller. Survivors include one sister, Mary Ann (John) Kissinger of Cleveland, Tenn.; one brother, Ed (Nancy) Anderson of Cambridge; special nephew, Sam (Tammy) Gulick of Kimbolton; and several other nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends in the Cambridge area. Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today (Sunday) at the Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be Monday (June 13, 2011) at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The Revs. Sturman Moore and David Kissinger will officiate the services with burial in the Guernsey Memory Gardens.
