Freda Marie Warner, 95, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (May 2, 2018) at the Park Village Southside Nursing Home, New Philadelphia. She was born September 8, 1922 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Charles McWilliams and Roxie Pearl (Allender) McWilliams. Mrs. Warner worked for RCA and later retired in 1984 from NCR as a supervisor. She was a member of the Center United Methodist Church. Mrs. Warner was a life member of the Valley Grange # 1586 and a life member of the VFW Post 2901 Auxiliary. She was also a member of the MOCA Group, Eagles Aerie 386 Auxiliary, and Guernsey County Senior Citizens of Cambridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Ray Wilson in 1975; her second husband, William E. Warner in 1985; a daughter, Linda Marie Glazer; four brothers, Ralph, Harry, Donald, and Delbert McWilliams; and five sisters, Edna Walters, Bernadine Toman, June Knott, Dorothy Millar, and Beverly L. Erbes. She is survived by a son, James Ray (& Eunice) Wilson Jr. of Wyoming; a son-in-law, Larrie Glazer of Newcomerstown; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and a special niece, Lynn Ball. Visitation will be held Monday (May 7, 2018) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge. As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Community Hospice of New Philadelphia, 716 Commercial Ave SW, New Philadelphia OH 44663.
